Cindy Moon, also known as Silk, is a superheroine in Marvel Comics' Modern Age.
Bitten by the same radioactive spider that empowered Peter Parker, Cindy gained similar abilities, including superhuman strength, speed, agility, and a spider-sense. However, her powers also include organic webbing and advanced memory.
Silk's first comic book appearance was in The Amazing Spider-Man #1 (April 2014). Imprisoned for years by Ezekiel Sims to protect her from Morlun and the Inheritors, she was eventually freed by Spider-Man.
After her release, Cindy adopted the superhero identity of Silk and began operating as an independent hero. She has since been a member of several teams, including the Agents of Atlas, and has starred in her own solo comic series.
